Who is behind Convivi

I built Convivi to remove mental load from a moment that should make us feel better.

I am Andrea. I have spent years working on digital products, marketing, ecommerce and interfaces. Convivi started at home, between work, two young kids, little mental energy at the end of the day and a very practical wish: eating better without turning dinner into a complicated project.

Una famiglia felice a tavola che condivide un piatto di pasta nella luce calda del pomeriggio
Origin

It started on those evenings when you get home late and still have no idea what to put on the table.

For a few weeks I noticed we were eating worse. Not because we lacked good intentions, but because of tiredness, open loops and decisions pushed to the end of the day. The usual things win, often ultra-processed, and your body notices: less energy, worse digestion, more tension.

The table, which should be a real pause, became another item on the list. Hungry kids, few ideas, the feeling that I had to make the right choice for everyone. And when there is little time for sport, what you eat matters even more.

Convivi came from there: not from wanting to control every gram, but from wanting to know what to eat, shop sensibly and make dinner feel normal, warm and shared again.

Eating well should not require becoming obsessed. It should become easier.
The problem

Eating has become noisy.

Too much information, too many saved recipes, too many apps built for individuals and too little practical help for a family that needs dinner tonight.

Choosing is tiring

Finding a recipe can feel like choosing something to watch: you scroll, compare, get lost and end up cooking the same four dishes again.

Most tools are individual

Many apps talk to people who want to weigh and track every gram. Convivi starts from the household: tastes, allergies, intolerances, time and real compromises.

Shopping is still on you

A recipe is not enough if you still need to calculate amounts, remember what is missing, sort by aisle and adapt portions. Convivi closes the loop.

The table loses value

Eating together is ancient and important: stories, ideas and conversations start there. If you arrive exhausted, you miss it.

Why Convivi

Less endless choice, more ready plan.

Convivi is not trying to be another recipe archive. It is built to do the boring work before you have to.

01

It automates the cycle

It creates the menu, adapts recipes and prepares the shopping list with the right quantities. Fewer mental steps, less friction.

02

It thinks family-first

A plan for everyone means fewer dinner dramas, less waste and fewer pans on the stove to satisfy different people.

03

It stays simple

Nutrition fundamentals matter, but the experience should feel light: no spreadsheet disguised as an app, no useless technical language.

Credibility

My work is building digital products people actually use.

My background is web development, and over the years I have worked across product, UX/UI, growth, ecommerce and startups. I built Convivi myself: code, design, experience, content and direction. But what really drives me is not technology itself: I have always loved building, and I want to build something that genuinely helps people. Convivi is exactly that.

Product and UX

I care about reducing effort, not adding features for show. Every screen should remove a decision, clarify a step or save time.

Web development

My starting point is technical. That lets me turn a concrete problem into a working, iterative product, not only an idea.

Growth and listening

I like understanding what truly blocks people. Convivi has to grow by talking with families, creators, professionals and skeptical users.

AI with common sense

I treat AI with enthusiasm and suspicion at once: it speeds up development and personalizes, but left alone it invents absurd recipes. For nutrition and cooking I lean on official sources and serious educators, and keep the AI on concrete rails.

Who is behind Convivi

Convivi is constantly evolving. I build it every week, listening to the families who use it.

The direction is clear: help ordinary people eat better without making food stressful. If the problem sounds familiar, try it and tell me what is missing.
