Welcome to Convivi. By using the service you accept the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Convivi is an application that helps families plan weekly meals, generate shopping lists and create personalized recipes through artificial intelligence (Chef AI), including from text, voice, links and photos. The service is constantly evolving and features may be added, changed or removed over time.
An account is required to use the main features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out through your account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. Family member data, including minors, is entered under your responsibility.
To keep the service sustainable and high-quality, some features — in particular AI-based ones such as Chef AI and plan generation — are subject to daily or periodic usage limits. Limits may change over time; significant reductions will be communicated in the app. Circumventing or attempting to circumvent these limits is prohibited.
You agree to use Convivi in compliance with the law and not to: compromise the security of the service, access other users' data, use the app through unauthorized automated systems (scraping, bots), overload the infrastructure, or submit to Chef AI content that is unlawful, offensive or unrelated to the culinary purpose of the service.
Chef AI and the other AI-based tools produce content generated by statistical models. Although filters are applied based on your allergies and intolerances, errors remain possible: always check the ingredients and product labels before consuming dishes, especially in case of severe allergies.
Nutritional information is an estimate calculated on average values and is for indicative purposes only. Convivi does not provide medical, dietary or nutritional advice and does not replace the opinion of a doctor or nutritionist.
Recipes you create with Chef AI or save in your recipe book stay private to your account ("Created by me") and are not visible to other users, except those you publish yourself through Convivi Studio. You keep the rights to the content you provide and grant Convivi a limited licence to host, process and show it to you solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for the content you submit (text, photos, links) and warrant that you have the right to use it.
The recipe extraction features from links (websites, videos) and photos are intended exclusively for personal, domestic use. Extracted content may be protected by third-party rights: it is up to you to ensure that importing and using it respects those rights. Convivi does not claim any ownership of the original extracted content.
Convivi Studio lets anyone open a public page at convivi.app/c/<address> and publish recipes on it. Using the Studio is free, with no paid plans and no limit on the number of recipes. Opening it requires accepting these conditions.
Content and rights. The recipes, text and photos you publish remain your property. You warrant that you are their author or hold the rights to publish them. You grant Convivi a non-exclusive, free, revocable licence to host them, show them on your page and in the app under your name, and process them to compute portions, nutrition values and shopping lists.
Catalogue. In exchange for free use of the Studio, the recipes you publish for free may be included by Convivi in its catalogue, and therefore suggested in families’ weekly plans, always credited to you. Convivi decides which ones to include. If you unpublish a recipe, it also leaves the catalogue. Recipes in a paid collection never enter the catalogue.
Approval. The first publication of your page is reviewed by Convivi. Convivi may decline to approve, or deactivate, pages and recipes that breach these terms, the law or third-party rights.
Subscription share. For each user who subscribes to Convivi after arriving from your link, you are entitled to 30% of what that user actually pays in their first year of subscription, net of refunds. The share only accrues once paid subscriptions are live: nothing accrues for the period before. Convivi may agree a different share in writing with individual creators. A share becomes payable 30 days after the subscriber's payment. Payouts happen once every 30 days and include all payable shares, provided they add up to at least €50; otherwise they roll over to the next payout. Payments are made against the creator’s invoice or receipt, as described in the Studio.
Selling collections. You may sell collections of at least 10 recipes, at a price within the range shown in the Studio, provided you keep at least 10 free recipes published. Convivi collects the price, keeps 10% (payment-processor fees included) and pays you the rest. Whether a collection is free or paid cannot be changed after publication. Selling is only available once Convivi enables it.
Leaving. You may stop using the Studio and unpublish your recipes at any time. Collection purchases already completed remain valid for their buyers.
Push notifications are optional and can only be enabled with your consent. You can disable them at any time from your browser or device settings.
The application, the Convivi brand, the design, the software and the service's recipe catalog remain the property of Convivi or its licensors. Copying, distributing or reusing the catalog or substantial parts of the service without authorization is not permitted.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Convivi is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including allergic reactions, food choices or nutritional decisions, nor for the accuracy of content extracted from external sources. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers by law.
We may update the service and these terms to reflect improvements, new features or legal requirements. In case of significant changes we will inform you by email or through an in-app notice; continued use of the service after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
You can close and permanently delete your account at any time from the Settings page. An active subscription is closed together with the account: if you are still within the 14-day withdrawal period we refund the first charge, otherwise the current period is not refunded. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice where possible.
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the court of Pordenone, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights, including the court of your place of residence. EU consumers may also use the ADR procedures provided for by applicable law.
